Eating Sensibly Poem by Ima Ryma

Eating Sensibly

A hungry lion ambled through
The jungle for something to munch.
Two guys, off guard, came into view.
'Ah, ' thought the lion, 'Here is lunch.'
One was writing at his lapboard.
The other was reading a book.
The writer - the lion ignored.
The poor reader - the lion took,
And gobbled down the guy entire;
Then merely watched the other run.
If so hungry, one might inquire,
Why did the lion eat just one?

The king of the jungle assessed:
Writers cramp while readers digest.
