Eating The Human Flesh Poem by Genevieve Pilat

Eating The Human Flesh

Hungry? Why not have a taste
Fill up your appetite, don't put any to waste
Why not have something so raw and so fresh
Why don't you try eating human flesh?

Go ahead and devour each limb and part
Of every lover's passion and heart
And go and consume every last bit of soul
Of all the dreamers; go ahead fill up your bowl.

Eating the human flesh of those dreaming to achieve
What they long for in life, what they truly believe
Can bring such strong cravings for doubters who abhor
Go on have your seconds, who cares about the gore.

Doubters like you envy all those with goals
So go ahead and take action, destroy their flesh and souls
Attack with all your might, make them feel distress
And finish them off leaving only a horrid mess.

Yet here is the thing about all those who dream
Even with those attacks, nothing beats their esteem
For their hearts are held strong and their bellies filled with fire
Their passions and goals they will soon acquire.

So go on and try to eat every last bite
Of human flesh you could consume in sight
For their passions and dreams you can never steal
All you will recieve is an unsatisfying meal.
