Ebola Poem by Mo Masedi

Ebola

In Africa death is a constant
Avoidable death is our shadow
A cursed halo around our heads
We die every moment in Africa
From ourselves, diseases, conflicts
We kill ourselves
More than others kill us
Life doesn't mean a thing
We end up as nothing
We are death
Own death
Today it is Ebola
Feeding on the continent
Tomorrow it is something
Death is our constant companion
