Eden's Gate Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Eden's Gate

At Eden's gate
'tis spring, and sweet
sparkling eyes jingle
twinkles at the sun,
and fun in sighs
wise unweary thoughts
do count about wishes
within sight.

Adam, with thy voice
of apple wine,
spilling honey,
complete and seductive
in words,
enticing
nicely dripping sweetness,
greet me
with immpassionate lips,
but kiss me lightly
in thoughts of mine.
