Educating Ignorance Poem by Terence George Craddock (Spectral Images and Images Of Light)

Educating Ignorance

Rating: 5.0

Educating ignorance
is a full on
lifetime task.

A joyous
not grave
responsibility

to raise
to expand the consciousness
of an entire world.

To perpetuate
human survival
on a higher

cosmic level
attaining joyous existence
sustainability.

Reverent
collective will
exalting

individual freedom
outgrow need to dominate
pristine nature.

Outgrowing need
to dominate
energy sources

all human incarnations
conceived revered as
sacred sites evolving.

Life a joyous exaltation
not a grave
restrained responsibility.

Wow Terence, I have not read many poems with such an optimistic and enthusiastic, highly motivated view. I really appreciate it sooo much. The world is in need of idealism, more than ever and there are far too many idealism killers in this world (they tend to call themselves realists) . Keep your enthusiasm expressed in this poem as high as you can. Do not listen to the so called realists trying to kill all ideals of young people just because they give up thier own ideals prematurely. Fantastic work. Keep it up.
