Ego Trips Us Poem by Michelle Claus

Ego Trips Us

Rickety bridge, suspended
across our lifespan, wobbles.
We ace our gait - UPENDED!
With achy brain, we hobble.

With measured mien we amble,
less often uppity, midge.
Ego trips us to humble
along the rickety bridge.
