Ek Mis Julle!

Giggels en gille
Giere en grille
Boyfriends en breakups
En al julle dinge

Skoolwerk en socials
Vroegdag tot laatnag
Hairdo’s en makeup
En worry en opwag

Kibbel en kwaad raak
Mooi praat en opmaak
Tantrums en trane
‘n Drukkie wanneer dit saak maak

Ek mis my meisiekinders
Meer as wat ek ooit kan sê
Twee weke is net nie lank genoeg
Vir al die tye wat ek saam wil hê

Maar een ding is verseker,
Is so standvastig soos ‘n rots:
Geen tyd, geen afstand vervaag ooit
‘n moeder se liefde of haar trots!
