Electric Daisy **lyrics**

The ride was long and tiresome
But soon we'd be arriving.
He had glitter in his hands,
I told him to sprinkle it down on me.

The neon lights in the dark,
In the distance, they filled me.
Carnival rides at night,
Nothing more pretty could destroy me.

It was Electric Daisy,
The grounds were filled with people like me.
Electric Daisy,
Under the electric sky where we all were free.
I think we are flying, flying
At night we both know who we are.
I think we are dying, dying
This is where we shine like stars.

Neon Garden, Cosmic Meadow,
the hippie land of grass, groove and beats.
Where I laid dazed in paradise
beside my high little baby.

Kinetic fields stood tall
Like heavens own cathedral wall.
Ferris wheels at midnight,
Fireworks cried happiness with their light.

It was Electric Daisy
The grounds were filled with people like me
Electric Daisy
Under the electric sky where we all were free
I think we are flying, flying
At night we both know who we are
I think we are dying, dying
This is where we shine like stars

We could just stay here forever
Dancing wild beneath laser beams
This is our end and our start
The world as it should always be seen

Paradise, this night life
I've never dreamed of being found
Paradise, these bright lights
The music in my soul, it's sound

A dancing moon princess,
with love in her heart.
A dreamy blues singer,
smooth and cool to start.
I breathe in your pure love,
I exhale my sad ghost.
I love you the best,
I love you the most.

It was Electric Daisy
The grounds were filled with people like me
Electric Daisy
Under the electric sky where we all were free
I think we are flying, flying
At night we both know who we are
I think we are dying, dying
This is where we shine like stars

Poem of the Day

poet William Butler Yeats

WINE comes in at the mouth
And love comes in at the eye;
That's all we shall know for truth
Before we grow old and die.
I lift the glass to my mouth,
