Elemental Forces Of Change Poem by Dela Bobobee

Elemental Forces Of Change

Rating: 5.0

Right before the very basis of beginning of existence
and before infinity sank its subtle solid roots into the
acquiescent sublime soil of immortality existed a kind of
nucleus sturdy revolution that spun the ageless wheel in
the vaults of perpetuity, and that turbulent phenomenon
is the awe-inspiring cyclical twirl known as change

change is the potent force of intellectual stimulation
it sprouts its tentacles in tenets of elemental forces
and gains its insurmountable strength from the spur
of the past, present and future, for it is the only strong
and permanent phenomenon in a life distilled in chaos
to fashion out order in the turbulent waves of serendipity

change is the relentless iconoclast without sentiment
an arrow with darts doused in altruistic ink of alterations
that pierce through the stony heart of idle conformity

change is the blacksmith’s crucible of all ideologies
and the strong terracotta of defiant malleable traditions
that made martyr of Galileo and new heroic trailblazers

change is the salient pious path of transcendentalism
and the only way out of this earthly quagmire of vacillation
to break the circle of motionlessness in the future of ideals
that have eluded the searchlight of the wise and prudent
who have failed to look in the cycle of life instead of the
translucent opacity in the linear veneer of true leadership

change is the only true metaphorical poetic quill of reason
to etch noble ideals in the hollow heart of man and revive
new voracious appetite for readership of liberal arts in the
murky waters of scientific and technological proliferation
to steer humanity clear of suicidal tendencies in avarice
and antagonistic gloating inherent in delusion of grandeur.
