Eliminated Completely Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Eliminated Completely

Even feelings had,
For someone loved can end.
As if they were never there.
To Remember when they started.
With them to begin.
Something said or done,
Taints the icing on the cake.
Ruining the taste of it.
And a space of a nothingness,
With a void to fill it to replace.
Eliminated completely.
Gone as if chased.
Gone as if erased.
Gone not to care.
With even memories to take.
