Eljigakoh Poem by Xielgnihhan Amasahdympaehk

Eljigakoh

'He who is Dead, yet has many Lives;
He who is Poor, yet he Thrives;
He who is Crippled, yet he can Walk;
He who is Mute, yet can Talk;
He who treads in the Light, yet traverses in the Dark;
He who bites like a Slug, yet has teeth like a Shark;
He who is Calm, yet is filled with Rage;
He who is Ancient, yet does not Age;
He who sees the Future, yet lives in the Past;
He who is First, yet is Last;
He who is Everywhere, yet is Nowhere;
He who is Atrocious, yet is Fair;
He who is Kind, yet is Heartless;
He who has Grace and Form, yet is Artless;
He who is Brainless, yet shows Intelligence;
He who is Forgiving, yet seeks out Vengeance;
He who is Quick-witted, yet his mind is Slow;
He IS Eljigakōh, the King of Limbo.'
