Elusive Barriers Poem by Neran Sati

Elusive Barriers

The sea was painted metal
Sullen clouds, but looking down
Then mingling shades of grey
Round glowing route to sun.

And sparkling path to glory
- assuming firmer ground,
Could be darkened, likewise
By just a tiny cloud.

Excellent poem. The path of righteousness can veer-off suddenly by something unexpected. Your poem is succinct and powerful- -a terrific combination. Spellcheck: change 'darken' to 'darkened.'
