Embrace Poem by Crystal Maresh

Embrace

In this cold season of fall
I leave for your house
Only to be embraced
By your warm loving arms
A few hours later.

Everytime I see you
Everytime I hear you
I smile more and more
And I just can’t wait
For our next embrace.

As I sleep here in your arms
The warm protective embrace
I think of all the times we shared
And how happy I am.
I’m glad to be with you
Here and now.

I am home now
Away from your arms
How I wish to be back in them
Once again.
I miss your bed
The warmth of you beside me.

In this cold season of fall
All I could think about
Was just you and your embrace
How I miss it even now
I cannot tell you how much I await
Our next embrace.
