Embrace Your Pain

Rating: 4.5

Embrace your pain.
It’s your best friend for now.
It is your child, your partner and your lover.

Let tears drop
And with the autumn rain
Knock off the golden leaves of life departed.

The arabesques of words
That trees will cast with naked branches
Onto the sheets of blue
Accept, write down, and forget.

Withdraw in hibernation, season ended!
To heal, you need your pain and time.
Let snow chilling hands caress your burning face;
And lullaby of winds let whistle in your ear.

New dreams will come, and pain will leave.
And meek and gentle smile of the awaken flower
You once again will notice and will live.

I just might have to embrace my pain after reading this poem even though it's gonna be so hard to do so.
