Embracing Eyes
Traipsing down avenues of lively joy, finding
happiness we used to rely on to keep us healthy
and laughing even beyond sorrow's curtains.
Talking to one another with our eyes held in
loving embraces, trusting with a faith in God
to keep us together for however long He can.
