Emerald Garden In Northern Erin Poem by June Allegra Elliott

Emerald Garden In Northern Erin

True,
Eden is my emerald garden set
cozy in old Antrim's Northern Erin
In endless delight, my eyes behold
the quiet rose and dancing
daffodils; The snow-white daisies,
and shy primrose, all
hiding behind a screen of
verdant ferns, and
O'er my head, oh bless my soul!
Acacia blooms like comely
Primavera, plaiting
golden braids in
her fragrant
wind-blown hair!
