Emergent Love 10/02/07 Poem by Rachael Hardy

Emergent Love 10/02/07

Rating: 5.0

A soul that speaks with his eyes
And expresses with his lips
Expresses with his touch
That soulfully glides with every stride
Exploring an undiscovered territory
Now claimed
And sealed with a blissful kiss
Priorities of the heart
Forced to make a start
And give in
Give in to my inhibitions
Give in to my pride
Give in to my selfishness
And let love guide
Guide the soul where the eyes cannot
Teach the heart what the mind cannot
And the essence of a true heart emerges
And causes a profound action
Love
Accompanied by a statement
Which is what you make of it
A phrase
Which guides the heart
To an elevation of unfathomable sentiment
I love you
