I’m tryin to express my love to you
Tell me what I need to do
As I begin to open up
As u take a closer look
Wondering if you should or not
Telling me “no need to worry”
“Funny” Now I’m feeling insecure

Now were back to the drawing board
As this never existed on both of our parts
Telling each other be “confident” and “patient”
Is this reality or a dream we envisioned
Or simply emotions we never considered
Now were questioning each others intentions?

I understand this emotion is scary
But nothing in life is ever easy
The problem with life it’s never predicting
If we let go now of our “past”
I’m promising tomorrow will bring a better future
Let GO! Our emotion is the biggest downfall

Here’s the perfect opportunity
To address a situation maturely
It’s easy to point fingers and blame
Just merely to save face
In actuality its both are faults
Simultaneously, changing our hearts
I’m here in your life to take a stand
Please baby grab my hand!

Why fight what were feeling
To scared of disappointment
Unresolved issues is causing distance
When the true crime is ignoring “What God gave us”?
Yeah I’m scared also,
We have this one chance to make it right
So why let our emotions control “Our destiny in life”!

I understand this emotion is scary

And let life be the determining factor
