Empathy Poem by Radi Junior

Empathy

She says she has DID,
Something like dual personality.
Severe headache bugs all time,
Pushing her towards creativity.

You know how a disease feels,
No good is others' empathy.

How should I feel? I ask myself,
Waiting for the next cup of tea.
My head seems blank - no big deal?
No good am I with sympathy?

You know how a disease feels,
No good is others' empathy.

Well don't we all have many faces?
Aren't we the same in reality?
Don't we lie to ourselves everyday,
Just to please this society?

Just like her, many are happy outside,
But unhappy in deep secrecy.
Many may appear ideal to public,
But evil doers to morality.

You know how a disease feels,
No good is others' empathy.

Something makes her different though,
It's that nice bit of creativity.
