Emptiness
you've been betrayed
leaving your heart
so battered and broken
you've been cut
you bled
but the wound
is still open
a bitter taste
left in your mouth
no mouthwash
can ever wash out
you've been betrayed
your heart beats
fast and slow
deep and dark
is your bloodflow
the fountain of
your love is now
empty and dry
you've been betrayed
and the sun
has left the sky
