Empty Room Poem by Jamie Walker

Empty Room

Snow swirling around my feet,
Bone chilling, fingers numbing, i don't feel anything
children running, laughing, falling around me

All I can see is an empty room around me,
I see only the shades of red, gray, and blues
I live this way because I cant see your face,

In my head, When I feel like the worlds crashing down on me
But its probably for the best,
One of us getting lost and hollow is better,

Than having to watch each other suffer,
Watching each others pain,
Slowly kill us deep inside

So I let you get away,
Now go and give the world,
All that i took for granted,
And see all the colors of the world

So that you will go on and be an inspiration to someone
Who sees your true colors shine through
Let yourself out
