End Of Day Poem by Jacqui Broad

End Of Day

Behind the weeping willow,
the sun sets.
I follow the twilight's
hues of red.
First, yellow, orange, red,
mysterious pink.
Black follows after the blue,
let's you think...
Can life be as colorful in
shades of grey?
Can there be a lesson learnt
at end of day?
I follow along with the aching
of my heart.
If I have all these questions, I
cannot be smart.
Behind my weeping eyes,
light shines through.
I follow the stages of my life,
and it ends by you...

'All the ways reads to Rome is an old saying' Poet all poems of yours leads one eternal love - heart-broken, heartrending. However, I like the way the poem was started with diction in the world of fiction where life is an action is my feeling........ 'Behind the weeping willow, the sun sets. I follow the twilight's hues of red.' However, with you poem I feel still people are living by heart, by sensitivity, A Great feeling is this. A big treat to you if only god trips the distance of 1000s of miles. Kudos!

You have an excellent observation... you have portrayed the sunset so well.. How much ever good the day be.. At the end of the day when we are lying on the bed..The purpose of our being stands in front of us....
