Endings Poem by Viola Grey

Endings

Rating: 3.9

As suddenly as I fall apart,
I'm resurrected once again.
To face the lies,
to face the fears
of another day without you.
When will the dream end?
When will reality stomp it's feet
in a childish thunder
as yet unheard,
and urge my soul to live again
inside the fading storm.
When will the tears,
the shattered prayers
dissolve into the night.
I'm gone again, my friend,
you cannot save me,
not this time.

Very beautifully written. The words are clear as they pull you in for the ultimate ending. A very sad haunting piece filled with emotion. Great job!
