Endurance Poem by Syed Peerzada Aurangzeb

Endurance

Rating: 5.0

Enduring lonely, by the way long Hayward of shores
An orient where odyssey's begin
And Peerless reign of en-kindled memories stroke
Where sun describes into dark shadows, and fire up his voice for the last call
And others will feign to be his friend
Where Reflections burnt to winter ashes, and pour unkindness beneath
Where the flocks of life, dispersed and disguised, blame the soul to be her mistress
The eyes stayed down and dry, to find some sympathy beyond human chords
Where those tears gone? That rode like a rainbow clad
Wordy heartbeats like snailing throb, winked with amaze
Where those shine gone? That names the haze
Heavens vanished in thoughts, and pampered stars falling apart
Those who were slow left behind, cast dreadfully under the dust
Smiles never rose again adjacent to barbarism
Survival wrote the letters to the blood, I am fading without the flowers
Fading away like coldness in the dark, embraced with the mist
Unclear and uncertain my breaths will be and the colors that strangled
Last thing I wrote to the loved ones.
