Endurance Poem by Michael Popoola

Endurance

Rating: 2.8

A long way that has not been trampled upon
A narrow path that is not easy to pass
An undulated terrain that is difficult to run
Endurance is the key, it keeps you on

When the going is tough it will keep you strong
When the plain is high it keeps you steady
When the landscape is bad it keeps you sustained
A little endurance you need, it keeps you on

Listen to melody of old time song,
Give your ear to history from the great
Learn from the elderly ones around you
A great lesson to learn - endurance is the key.

Our father told us: story is good
Experience is better; a tale must be made of you
History must have something to tell about you
A little endurance is the key; it keeps you on
