Ennui Poem by Marvin Brato Sr

Ennui

Rating: 4.5

Daily existence of man is routinary
inspite of the variables of his lifestyle
secular pleasures make him very wild
cares only for self satisfaction most times
often not contented for what he possess
never stop yearning for more riches to hold
till he comes to the end of the trail in his life
entrap in the delusion of hope and tranquility
now realizing that it is not grandeur that counts
to be able to enjoy the bounties of this world
money can not buy a priceless peace of mind
every soul seeks for a greater worth of living
no matter what it cost to find true consolation
that can fill up the void and sustain happiness.
