Entangled Poem by Jordyn Heal

Entangled

Darkness consumes my soul
The smile hiding the sadness
I keep deep with in this mess
I try to forget but with,
Every painful breath I see you,
I try and quit breathing,
Your face bringing me back,
To this heartache which consumes
I've become entangled
In such a dangerous web
Along my path which keeps
Draging me back into the past
To my childhood full of you,
I know what you've become
I hate myself for letting you go
I let you get so far away
From the best friend I once knew
I even stoped loving you
I hate you for letting me hate myself
I hate my best friend who knows
Exactly who we are, for leaving
Becoming this self distructive...

Monster.
