Everyone in our town must have a family doctor,
He can only listen to your complaint and refer;
If not, as you go to a specialist, physician or surgeon,
Whatever complaint we may say, they fix it to their region;

A relative of mine,85 years old, had burning sensation
in his upper abdomen; when he went to a doctor of his own;
He prescribed antacid tablet for his gastric pain;
Unrelieved of his agony, he went to a senior surgeon;

The surgeon thought that it could be a gastric ulcer,
He decided to do oesophagogastroduodenoscopy,
not considering it could be a serious medical problem,
the patient died next day due to massive cardiac infarction;

Epigastric pain in an elderly person, think of it
as a precluding symptom of impending heart attack!
