Epitaph On The Late Well Beloved Sir William Middleton
Beloved by tenant, servant, and by friend,
Such love as seldom the great man attend;
A generous heart, without affected pride,
And truth did all Sir William's actions guide.
Ye gods, attend the darling of his life,
Rememb'ring still she was Sir William's wife.
