Epoch Poem by nimal dunuhinga

Epoch

Rating: 5.0

The belated moon behind a person's back
and the epitome looks to the infinity
for better or for worse.
He is in between the devil and the deep sea.
The familiar erotic sun eloped with the moon
and in the dark sky where the shoe pinches.

To the poetess Mary Nagy for her kindness.

You have lost me here, Nimal. perhaps that is your intent. The words are so beautiful and the manner in which they flow into each other is excellent. Only you could bemuse and delight at the same time. Who needs understanding when one can revel in the imagery of such a piece?

I believe this poem has a relation with Budha phylosophy. I'm I right Nimal?
