Escape
I'm in the water,
I'm in the pool.
I've escaped the shallow end,
but I've gotten out by you.
Now I'm in the deep,
Love drowns me,
even in my sleep.
I'm not in over my head,
but I'm to my feet in love.
Every atom I'm composed of
it stays together for you.
I could lose myself,
my composure, my composition.
But it's you that I've escaped the world with.
It's you and always has been.
