Escape Poem by marwin danao

Escape

Rating: 5.0

I smiled every time I imagined my misery
The days that there's no flush in my history
That yesterday leaves a scar
I injured myself in the dark

The rain giggled cause my ignorance blast
Such a fool! Can't fight the tremor of past
Does it make sense? I am not winner
Not even a saint but am more of a sinner

I am all alone, alone on the cage
No one hears me, am about to rage
No one believes am not in throne
Don't wanna cry to that endless dawn

How could I escape?
There's a chain to this gruesome fate
Will this dark side of mine make me stronger
Or will it lead the hue of mine darker?
