Slick in love’s sweat
you arise from bed
to wash away
all aromas of my,
soaked in passion,
presence on you.
The water,
scented by my ardour
runs off coloured
with soap suds.
Every time,
you tiptoe away
to rinse off my present.
I smell, as you walk-in again,
the lingering fragrance
of all that you left behind
in your wake...
love, passion, fervour, craze
and the scream,
culminating we make.
