Estivate Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Estivate

Then there,
Summer heightened in our eyes.
The shade cooled as eucalyptus.
A relaxing feel.
An interpretation of the smiles that lit our face under the horizon.
The Sun melted from the sky.
A thick liquid caramelized in the heat of the Sun.
Her eyes.
A language that did not intimidate.
Etiquette.
The look shared eye to eye.
Characteristics of a desire felt deep within.
Sprouting. Branching out baring the fruit that soaks our mouths.
Adjacent to the clouds.
Softly sailing, caressing the Sun from view.
Stimulating the height of your cheeks
