Estranged
- - - - - - - - -
Bursting forth buds;
Into lovely flowers
Birds, foliage and stars,
That looked so fixed
And so sublime there
Now seem vanished
The rapture of that moment
And its sweet contents
That made life a dream
Now looking like a flickering light
Not quite the same, my dear
The springtime seems to me here
You look at me so strange
Talk to me things of craze
With ever-changing time
All things do change
So also we change
But do not perish
Is your heart under the influence of change?
My dear, I feel estranged………………
