Eternal Damnation Poem by Nicolas Lusk

Eternal Damnation

I slowly come to, as my eyes adjust to the brightness I see men in white uniforms huddled about me holding strange instruments. They watch me, waiting, the silence drones on. I can see hope on their faces, some murmuring prayers, they wait. But then one of them sighs in despair, and that is when I realized I had a tear gently rolling down my cheek. Put him under he is not ready to be amongst us.
