Eternal Light

I wrote a poem on top of a star
With hopes that you would see,
That twinkle at the edge of night
Is a vow to you from me

That through a million light years,
Beyond the gates of time
Eternal is the light of love
And mine for you will shine

Who ever received this must be very happy.

Good for 2 is better than good for just 1,
And much, much better than good for none.

Poem of the Day

poet Christina Georgina Rossetti

Where sunless rivers weep
Their waves into the deep,
She sleeps a charmed sleep:
Awake her not.
Led by a single star,
She came from very far
