Eternal Lullaby Poem by Crystal Bradley

Eternal Lullaby

Rating: 5.0

Sweet eternal lullaby
Lay me down gently
into the darkness that awaits.
Let your tempting kiss be not bitter
as you seal the harsh hands of fate.

Sweet eternal lullaby
Let me be not afraid
as you sing to me this last song.
For this dark hour has grown late
And the night has grown long.

Sweet eternal lullaby
Let no nightmares enter this
sacred place.
Send me sweet warm dreams
of beauty, forever, and of a loving face.

Sweet eternal lullaby
My eyes grow weary,
As my body craves this deep need.
Wrap me in your cold tempting embrace
And let my spirit run free.
