Eternal Wings Poem by Joseph Narusiewicz

Eternal Wings

Rating: 5.0

Sublime wings shall reach your haven
Laced in humility with fertile glow
Ravenous heart caged in apathy
Escape into cloudy eyes of sweet blue
Surrender in vulnerable adagios
Relished in fervors voluptuous hands
Roister while Robespoire plans
These temporal paradigms die
Hold on too vernal jewels
Rise with swelling tides
Ride evening moonlight
Pledge your allegiance to azure

Gloves from temples of stars
Nexus of changing axis
Surrounded by flowing gardens
Hold me like the hands of the wind
Change replenishes the coffers of soul
Deep answers too deep
Eternal crystal sighs whisper
We are the answers we seek
Profound ecclesiastical touch
Sapporo morning where time dawns
Talents of golden songs
Tremont onyx candles lit with sapphires

Dark wings of sordid rage
Cruel as Roman legions
March for eagles flying bold
Conquered and neutered like slaves
Stars fall like azure rain
Wrapped in religions of the pyramids
No balm or healing from self-hatred
Conquistadors send galleons of blood
I am warped in passion
Bound by fire
Great wings with talons of desire
The thirst of vampires

Vines with tendrils of Persian stars
Ancient eyes of feline ecstasy
Semen from Pastorates portals
Drowning in Presidium
Latin tongues of fire of Ovid
Shrill cries of amorous Athena
The wings of desperation flutter
Machiavellian kings turn into dust
She has castles without lanterns
Visions with great pyres
Lust that fades into dusky memory
Your wings are tired lions

I seek eternal wings
