Euphorical Inebriation Poem by michael billiot

Euphorical Inebriation

Euphorical inebriation
no hesitation only regeneration
give me an explanation
of my registration
to this world
didn't think a girl
could drown my pain
then bring it back unrestrained
can I survive this incision
of my mental decision
to be alive
and try to thrive
can I get back to where I once was
give me back the trust
that you took forever to acquire
but now this visa has expired
you no longer can walk inside
my thoughts inside my mind
we were doing so great for so long
but here I am writing this song
about the pain you caused
I know I'm flawed
never said I wasn't lost
but I'd pay any cost
to get that joy back
but you made an attack
stabbed my back
with a lack
of hesitation
I feel desecrated
like I just cant make it
cant take it
cant shake it
cant break it
cant make it
any better than it is now
deep down I hear a sound
of my heart being flung to the ground
and your feet beginning to pound
it deeper in the earth
it feels worst than a curse
can I escape
can I create a place
where this pain
isn't what I have to face
