Even Gods Will Be Forgotten Poem by chance topliss

ready for death born for life i will soon be forgotten like all those before

all i know will soon begone

all i know will vanish from sight

gods have fought and swayed to the ground

legends have climbed to the top yet some will fall before

men have desire for more they fight battles that are not in favour

you will fall just like me every legend will die alike

the gods we know will soon fall and be forgotten

a grave stone is made to last yet even this will break and crumble

a sorry heart can only last so long until it dies

the body rots and decays just like everything else

whats the point of this life?

we try to prolong what we know will happen.
