Even Now Poem by Michelle Kidwell

Even Now

Even now

With your body

Gone

Your presence is felt

In the gentle smile of a true friend.

Even now

With your soul called

To glory

I can hear your laughter

In the wind.

Even now

As I write these words

A poem of memoriaun

I can feel you hear

Your presenmce

So real

I want to reach out

One last time

Say goodbye

Like I never really

Had the chance too.

Even now

As the months pass

And the days fade

I remember you

And your gentle caring

Spirit

And I know

You live on

In the little boy

You called Son.
