We walked the world,
seen it all,
bitterness, love and desire,
Immense beauty and repulsiveness vanity
We have spent our time, and invested our fortunes
We have asked all about god and death
and spoke to the devil himself and now he knows
He knows about our travels and watches us from afar
Our vices, our gossip, our lies...
And as god looks on to the machinations from this foe,
he sends us the blueprints with an old man, the old man we
attended and ignored, ramblings we said
Until that day.
But now we know that the devil knows
