EVENTIDE

In eventide when sun is down
And darkness fills the land
I still enjoy the presence of
My blessed Lord within.

I thank Him then with soul refreshed
His duty for me done
And close my eyes in prayerfulness
Trusting He'll say, 'Well done! '
