Eventually Poem by Troy Clark

Eventually

In my wake I see myself
Even if I’m ready or not
I have no time to waste
Because the sorrows read my sacred name
Because I cease to live on

Lately I’ve been failing
Waiting for a call to reach something
Even if I’m ready or not
Because the sorrows read my sacred name
Because I feel lifeless

My own propositions fail me
Its no conclusion, I feel your name
I sever the vessels, and bleed my evil out
Opening my fate to the violent skies

So now I finally come to rest
I pray for something that might not be there
I know it will be hard to forget me
But Ill eventually drive it threw you
