Ever Eternal Poem by Anthony Degilio

Love is a monstrous ocean you see,
Beautiful yet unforgiving as can be,
Billions of hearts gathered around,
Fighting over those still unbound,
Joy camouflages the shackles well,
As helplessly, you being to yell,
Chains wrapped tight around your heart,
Bounding you and your lover apart,
Once released, the pain is unbearable,
Used to torment, freedom so terrible,
Take your final breath and leave,
Eternal pain comes to put you at ease.
