Every Life Has A Story Poem by Anashree Nash

Every Life Has A Story

Rating: 5.0

Never judge a book by its cover,
They say;
A cliche that speaks,
Volumes of truth.

Never judge a book by its cover,
You know not;
Every page,
From its book.

Every chapter;
Holds a profound story;
Each page holds;
Sacred pieces of ones history.

Only the author can reveal,
To those whom shall suit;
The detailed canvas;
Of ones truth.

Behind ones victory;
You'd find many scars;
Behind ones smile,
Nights of tears under the stars.

Before you judge;
Before you speculate;
Take the time to go through
The contents of every book.

Never judge a book by its cover,
They say;
A cliche that speaks,
Volumes of truth.

Never judge a book by its cover,
You know not;
Every page,
From its book.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Each person you meet in life has their own, unique story. As humans we are too quick to judge people, without knowing their story. So my message is for all of us to be more understanding of each other in life. Remember, we only truly know ones life and actions towards it if we have walked in their shoes.
