Everyday I Dream Poem by Max D. Hornbogen

Everyday I dream away, dream away about nothing. Just only staring out to the sun. But I get reminded of the times that I was there for you. Can you here my voice, can you hear me talking. It seems like your off in your own distant world. So can you get your feet off the ground & sit for a while.

Well everyday I dream of things to come, now I see that everything is changing all around me. Even when I get outside, I can tell that the leaves are turning color.

Everyday I dream away, dream away about nothing. Just only staring out to the sun.

I’ve got no ideas and no blue sky above me, so my thoughts are still turning in my head.

But what I have in front of me, Is only you. Only you & the sun staring right at me.

So everyday I dream, dream away about nothing. Just only the sun staring right at me.

Well it’s almost getting late and passed the hour, I guess it’s time for me to go to bed.

Surely I’ll be resting my head, then my eyes will close eventually. Now I have to say it’s time to go. To go through that door, you came in.
