Everyday I, Pass You By.

Everyday I pass them by
motion takes me away.
I do not like to go
I do not like to move
but motion takes me away.

Everyday I pass them by
motion takes me away.

I wish
I go there with them
in the playground, I play game.
I do not like to go
I do not like to move
But motion takes me away.

Everyday I pass them by
motion takes me away.

I wish
I go there with them
in the pool I also swim
also catch fish and crabs
in the mud and clay.
I do not like to go
I do not like to move
But motion takes me away.

Everyday I pass them by
motion takes me away.

I wish,
I go there with them
in the field, I also roam
also run to catch the kite
throughout the day.
I do not like to go
I do not like to move
But motion takes me away.

Oh, my life
Everyday I pass you by
I do not like to go
I do not like to move
But motion takes me away.

    Yes Palas, very true.
Time is the best killer that takes us away silently.

yes palas...we are eternally in that motion...despite that we are always on the run resembling the proverbial crazy man who ran inside the moving train to reach destination early...ten for your poem subject... (Report) Reply

Palas, you have composed a very well phrased, simple and rhythmic poem containing the deep philosophy of life. You are a promising poet.
    I didn't like to go,
    I didn't like to move,
But the motion takes me away.
The wheel of 'Maya' moves with great speed and like a child we throw them away like toys one after the other, not realizing their meaning and value.
A great poem. Cudos to you. (Report) Reply

A poem about the power of momentum - life passing by its own momentum. Very well penned, Palas! ...motion takes me away.... (Report) Reply
