Everything After, No Matter What

Oh mi, oh my
Oh mi, oh my!
How long it's been, and I,
Falling asleep to the sound,
Someone's idyllic memory
Laced with their grace

Oh mi, oh my
Oh mi, oh my!
Sound sweeter than it was last

I am smiling to my own triviality
Darling heartbeat on my back

Granted, I, could find that lark to sing
That sacred spring song inside their ear
Remains sincere forevermore but
Must somewhere by now lie flat and low

I am smiling to my own triviality
Darling heartbeat on my back

Poem of the Day

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
